Description
The original Nagel candle holders were the brainchild of Werner Stoff, a German architect and designer. It was Stoff’s close friend Hans Nagel, who also happened to be the owner of a metalworking factory, Nagel Metallbau, who joined forces with Stoff to design a modular system of tripod candle holders in moulded nickel and zinc aluminum alloy. The ingenious design, originally named S22, was launched in 1967 and proved immediately popular.
